The University of Manitoba has been at the centre of research in Manitoba for more than a century. University of Manitoba scientists, engineers, artists and scholars are finding innovative solutions to many of the challenges facing Canada and the world.
With the support of our partners in research, including governments, industry, and community organizations, we are discovering new ways to improve our health, increase our understanding of ourselves and our world, advance our technology, strengthen our communities and protect our environment. The University’s Transformational Partnerships approach actively supports industry in making those innovation leaps through collaborative research and development partnerships. The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) oversees all aspects of the university’s intellectual property (IP) management and technology commercialization activities. It also supports interactions between the university, industry and community partners.
